Drumheller's DinoFest was a tremendous success in its first year and is set to ROAR back into Drumheller Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8, 2014
The Drumheller Festival Society along with ATB Financial, The Royal Tyrrell Museum, Canalta Hotels, Encana, FestivalSeekers, Drum FM, and the Government of Alberta are pleased to welcome the return of this annual festival - Drumheller's DinoFest. Celebrating everything prehistoric, this annual festival's goal is to deliver a blend of family-friendly activities to celebrate Drumheller's deeply rooted history of dinosaurs, palaeontology and the like.
The festival kick-offs Friday, June 6 with live music and entertainment on stage at Spray Park plus a movie on a three-story outdoor movie screen. The rest of the weekend is full of pre-historic themed events around town including special programming at the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

ATB Financial Presents MovieNites at DinoFest. Featuring FREE outdoor Dinosaur movies on a three-story outdoor movie screen at 10:00 pm on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th. Free popcorn will be handed out to all movie-viewers. Don't forget to bring a blanket or tarp to sit on.
DinoFest 5km Walk/Run
Join us Sunday, June 8 at 9:00 for a 5K fun walk/run. This is a great lead-up to the Dinosaur Valley Half Marathon on September 8th. To participate in the 5K go to the DinoFest Info Booth at Spray Park at 9:00 am on Sunday.
This is the 2nd Triathlon and DinoFest is excited to be hosting another great event.
There are two distances participants can do; sprint or Olympic. The Olympic distance is a 1,500 metre swim, 40 kilometre ride, and 10 kilometre run.
